Welcome to Jambo Hotels! To ensure your experience with us is seamless, we urge you to carefully read and understand our booking terms and conditions. By making a reservation, you agree to these terms, which are designed to guide your experience with Jambo Hotels.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with Jambo Hotels, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These guidelines will apply to all bookings and services provided by Jambo Hotels. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time, and such amendments will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website.
2. Booking and Payment
Booking Deposit: A minimum deposit of 25% of the total price is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due no later than 40 days prior to the start of the tour. Payment Method: For overseas bookings and non-residents of Kenya and Tanzania, payments must be made in US Dollars, UK Sterling Pounds, or Euros. Residents pay in local currency at the exchange rate applicable at the time of payment. Non-payment: Please note that failure to make payments as per these conditions may result in the withholding of services at the discretion of Jambo Hotels, potentially affecting your travel plans. Late Bookings: For late bookings made within 40 days before the commencement of the tour, full payment is required at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, notify Jambo Hotels in writing. Cancellations, reductions in stay length, or changes in the number of guests (collectively referred to as "Cancellations") will be subject to the following fees based on the number of days before the arrival date: 40 to 22 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee, 21 to 15 days before arrival: 30% cancellation fee, 14 to 7 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee, 6 to 3 days before arrival: 65% cancellation fee, 2 days to 0 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee. Please note that no refunds will be provided for unutilised services after the commencement of the tour, and any modifications to your stay or tour arrangements will not be covered by Jambo Hotels.
4. Liability
Jambo Hotels shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to force majeure events, strikes, or civil disturbances. Additionally, Jambo Hotels is not responsible for the loss or additional expenses incurred due to modifications to tour arrangements made by guests.
5. Travel Documents and Insurance
It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure that all travel documents, including passports and visas, are in order before the commencement of the trip. Jambo Hotels will not be held liable for any consequences arising from the failure to obtain or present the required documents. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, personal injury, property loss, and any other risks associated with travel. This will ensure that you are fully protected during your trip, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to fully enjoy your stay with us.

7. Governing Laws
Kenyan laws govern these Terms and Conditions. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.

Jambo Hotels values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected from you will be used solely to provide our services, improve your experience, and comply with legal requirements. By booking with us, you consent to collecting, storing, and using your data per our Privacy Policy.
9. Third Parties
Jambo Hotels may work with third-party service providers to enhance your experience. While we strive to partner with reputable companies, travellers agree that Jambo Hotels is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from third-party services.
